Care instructions

Take care of your furniture

Lacquered furniture achieves a dense and glossy surface through the application of multiple layers of lacquer. The lacquer can be transparent or colored, depending on the desired aesthetic. Lacquered surfaces protect the furniture from water, stains, heat, and some mechanical wear. This allows the furniture to last longer and maintain its appearance over time.

Lacquered furniture typically requires minimal maintenance, but they are not entirely maintenance-free. Just like with other types of furniture, lacquered furniture demands some care and maintenance to keep them in good condition.

Hard, dense and strong

Oak

Oak is a hard and strong wood with a distinctive, pronounced grain. It is one of the most classic furniture woods in Europe and is frequently used in our furniture. Its high density and strength make it particularly durable and resistant to wear.

In a typical year, around 50% of the oak we use comes from Sweden. The trees grow for approximately 100–120 years before being felled and transformed into furniture.
