How to oil your furniture

Oiling your furniture

Stolab’s care kit for oiled furniture contains everything you need to maintain and preserve your solid wood furniture. The kit includes all the essential products required to care for oiled surfaces, along with clear and simple instructions to guide you through the process.

Extend the life of your furniture

Oiling your furniture is an important and rewarding maintenance measure that can bring life and beauty to your wooden furniture. Over time, wood surfaces can lose their shine and feel due to daily wear and tear and exposure to humidity. By oiling your furniture, you not only restore its natural luster, but also protect the wood from cracking, fading and drying out.

Hard, dense and strong

Oak

Oak is a hard and strong wood with a distinctive, pronounced grain. It is one of the most classic furniture woods in Europe and is frequently used in our furniture. Its high density and strength make it particularly durable and resistant to wear.

In a typical year, around 50% of the oak we use comes from Sweden. The trees grow for approximately 100–120 years before being felled and transformed into furniture.
