When choosing furniture from Stolab, you can opt to have one of the following designs:
 Varnish
We use environmentally-friendly, water-based varnish which provides an intact and durable surface that does not age in the same way as an oiled surface.
Oil
An old, tried and tested handicraft which uses a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine. An oil-treated surface provides a natural feeling of wood, where the colour deepens with time and use.
Soap
We treat our furniture with natural soap. This gives it a very soft, pleasant surface, slightly lighter than a varnished or oiled surface.
Stain
If you like solid birch, but still want a more colourful product or perhaps a sober black, you can choose one of the following stain colours. The printed colours may vary from the actual product. Please see the colour samples under tab 10 “Standard Colours”. |
